Cochrane Reiki Sessions & Classes

Cochrane Reiki is a community group based in Cochrane, Alberta. Our goal is to share the benefits of Reiki with each other and also to direct healing energy on a global scale. Our local group is a unique collective of local Reiki Masters, Reiki students and participants from the local community who wish to benefit from Reiki’s focused, restorative powers.

More About Reiki & Our Group

As a practice, Reiki is accessible to every level of experience:

  • Anyone can receive the benefits of Reiki (from someone who has been attuned to the Reiki symbols).
  • You can take the first two levels of Reiki through a short course. This allows you to practice on yourself and others.
  • Taking the higher levels of Reiki, to become a Master Practitioner, allows you to then teach and attune others.

This basically means, our group includes anyone and everyone who would like to take part, no experience necessary!

If you are attuned to Usui Reiki (any level) and would like to volunteer or lead a table, please contact us.

Our collective approach is one of acceptance; acceptance of each person’s personal beliefs, skill levels, abilities and life experiences. One thing you will find with Reiki Masters is that they come from all walks of life. While we embrace each others’ differences, our unity will be strengthened by maintaining a shared focus of the key Usui Reiki symbols and creed.

We will be focusing on these key areas each month:

  • Community Reiki Sessions are held at various times throughout the year. These ongoing sessions are intended for all levels, whether you just wish to receive a treatment for the first time, or if you wish to expand your own personal Reiki practice or experience, all levels of experience are welcome!
  • Group Reiki Healing Sessions focused on issues outside of our community, usually on a global scale.
    This may also include collaboration with other Reiki groups around the world.
  • Reiki Classes – our local Cochrane Reiki masters offer a variety of Reiki classes to teach the various levels.

Reiki, as it is based on focusing “universal life force energy.” benefits all who take part in the healing sessions. Therefore, our group’s approach is to provide a universally-grounded approach to teaching, receiving and sharing Reiki.
